    Cheese bread ❌
Bread with bread covered in cheese inside it ✅

I like the thought, but I don’t want dry mac and cheese.

“I know! Let’s take the flavor of macaroni and cheese, and then substantially dilute that flavor with a whole ton of bread!”

No just no don’t ruin good bread like that I love sourdough toasted with butter and sometimes with a bit of cheese and black pepper but not this just disgusting.

Cheese sourdough would have been amazing BUT WHY PUT PASTA IN BREAD 😭

I mean, why?! Also, I would probably try it. Had Mac and cheese pizza the other day, it was basically just cheese pizza with macaroni on it, didn’t really add anything but also didn’t take away anything either

This looks like a job for Mac and cheese bologna!

  8. As a professional chef/baker in food science, I am intrigued yet also want to vomit.

I have a rule where I don’t eat a food unless I can recognise what’s in it without being told

Looks like a pair of lungs from a lifetime cigarette smoker

Strong urge would be to sit there and pick all the macaroni out with tweezers.

I would use that to make a patty melt or a meatball sandwich

Put some Nashville hot chicken in between slices and it’ll slap.

I was willing to overlook lasagna grilled cheese. But you’ve just blown right by that with no regard for human decency.

Is this what Jami Gertz has been up to??

This is actually a pretty tough subreddit for me – I am a Finn in my 50’s and have never seen any scarcity in my life, food has always come plentiful from the store. But my mother (who died at 94 this year) had seen actually poor times in her childhood. Otherwise it was quite a permissive upbringing for her times but we were absolutely taught to respect food. There was this local round rye bread with a hole in the middle and it could be placed also the wrong way up and that was always sharply rebuked – you were not to insult bread 🙂 It felt totally silly to me in the 70’s and 80’s, only afterwards I have understood her point. So, much of this reddit is totally not my cup of tea 🙂

I’d try it for a grilled cheese, other than that it looks so dense

Imagining the texture makes me think of maggots in moldy bread.
